Dumb Pixel Controller For Bar

I am trying to figure out how to build a circuit board to control up to 6 2811 flex pixel strands for my bar. I want to be able to use a remote like the one here: http://www.barlighting.com/LED-Flex-Kit-p/ifk-rgb.htm but I also want to be able to have three different modes where I can press a button on the remote that allows all 6 strands to be one color and cycles through (or chosen) effect, another button that allows each strand to be a different random color with a different effect and also a sound responsive (with sensitivity knob) feature for both of the previous modes. Of course I want to be able to have a strobe, fade, etc just like in the link above. Any help and training on how I would build this would be greatly appreciated!
