Hi all,
I'm sure the post title is a bit strange as v3 is probably much improved over v2. I've been watching some of the online Module tutorials and it seems interesting as I would like to dig deeper into C#. I'm wondering though, as I haven't gotten too far in yet, are Modules required for overall operation or just for special effects (for lack of a better term)?
As a basic example, I have a Ren24 that controlls 24 strings of lights, can I simply set up a profile and sequence as I did in v2, fire up the sequence and see blinky-flashy. Or, are the Descriptor, Instance, Data (optional) classes needed to tie any Effects to Channels, Patched to Controllers to see any blinky-flashy.
I probably won't make the switch this year, but maybe.
Any info appreciated.
