Did you know you could control EVERY light in your Display using a PixelPlane?
Makes lights chase left to right, top to bottom, etc.
I said EVERY light -- NOT just Pixels.
If you want to give it a try --- read on.
HLS has a RGB variation called "Mono Colored Pixel".
Did you know you can take an INCAN string of lights --- tell HLS it's an RGB string of type "Mono Colored Pixel"?
So ... step one is complete ... we can every light in our display defined as a Pixel.
Now --- determine the SIZE of the "Vertical Matrix" PixelPlane.
Take a picture of your display and place an X/Y grid over it and assign every Pixel to a Grid Cell and all of your NON-Pixels (your Pixels noted as Mono Colored) to a cell.
Map your lights to your Vertical Matrix PixelPlane grid (NOT Every Cell needs to have a light assigned to it).
You now have created a single PixelPlane that contains every light in your display --- pixels and non-pixels.
Now you can CHASE across your whole display or do whatever you desire.
HLS provides the tools to "Think Out-Of-The-Box" and create shows that few others can produce.
Have fun ... Christmas is coming soon.
Enjoy.
Joe
