I picked up a Renard SS24 board and Ramsey fm transmitter off craigslist yesterday. They guy said he never got around to using it after his brother built it for him as a present.

From what I have figured out so far, I need an enclosure.

CableGuard 2000

SPT-2 wire (I plan on making my own extension cords to run from the board to the lights. Not sure how much wire I should get)
SPT-2 female vampire plugs (50)
SPT-2 male plugs (25)

Cat5 cable - I'll wait on getting it until I get stuff figured out on where my computer will be and where I will mount the Exterior box.

Christmas lights - LED only - trying to get a bunch more while they are on sale right now

What other items should I get started in the mail? I'm hoping to get a good start on this project throughout the summer so that Christmas won't sneak up on me. Maybe a test-run Halloween show? My budget for this is $500 give or take. If I stretch it out all year I can probably extend that without the little lady noticing.

Just survived the first Christmas in my first house! I have a nice yard display and got a lot of compliments on it. I am hoping to slowly grow the display a little bit every year and hopefully rub of some of my Christmas spirit on my neighbors. I'm the only house with Christmas lights on my block.
