Just finished my starburst. Basically 2 quad PVC connectors to make 8 spokes. I'm happy with the way it turned out. If there is interest, perhaps I'll make a how-to when I make one of the next three I need to make for my yard.
Each spoke has 22 pixels, made from waterproof pixel strips (http://www.diyledexpress.com/index.p...roducts_id=176) chopped up into sections. It is driven from a single output on an E682. Power is fed into the input side of each of the 22 pixels strips so there is never a power problem.
I made a new prop in Vixen 3 to accommodate this new addition. If you have anything like this in your display or want to add one, adding it to the Vixen 3 preview takes mere seconds (see here for the Vixen 3 blog announcement: http://www.vixenlights.com/vixen-3/s...st-prop-added/).
