I am wondering if DMX and a low voltage can be next to each other in the same cable. It is for an LED Par Can, with an external transformer. So instead of running two cables for about 20 meters, there could be one 5 core cable, with appropriate split ends to match connectors at each end. Sorry if this is a bit unclear.
The Par Can requires 5v to run, and then DMX to operate it. Does anyone know if this will cause any random changes in operation, or if it would when scaled up to about 20 Par Cans. Obviously the power supply would have to be changed for a higher capability one, but will it cause any adverse affects?
