As a trial and a learning experience, I am converting one of my Vixen 2.5 sequences into Vixen 3.0. The import worked great, but now I am cleaning up the sequence to make it more "Vixen 3 like".
There is one effect in my old sequences that I have not been able to figure out how to do in new sequences in Vixen 3. In Vixen 2.5, it was implemented by taking a group of elements, (i.e. 8 mini trees) and then alternate between 0 and 100% between even and odd elements at a 25 ms interval.
During the import, this comes in as a series of 25ms "SetLevel" commands for each channel in the mini tree group.
If I try to create the effect purely in Vixen 3, I am unable to. Here is what I have tried.
#1 - Use the "Alternating" effect - This achieves he effect, however i will only allow me to alternate the colors at a 100ms interval. I guess I could use this, but I have grown to really like the effect the 25ms gave in Vixen 2 and would like to keep it in my Vixen 3 sequences if possible.
#2 - Manually create "Set Level" commands similar to the way it imported - I am unable to do this either, Vixen 3 will only allow a Set Level command to go to 60ms instead of 25ms.
Any help appreciated...
